Bread Toast Sticks with Cinnamon Yogurt Dip

Sharing is Caring

I was thinking the other day about my childhood and how, once in a while my mom would make me simple Bread Toast Sticks just the way I like it. A bit overdone, a bit burned. Am I the only one who likes how toast tastes when it is a bit overcooked?

Bread Toast Sticks

I hope not, because I really enjoyed these Bread Toast Sticks and I want you to enjoy them just as much as I have.

But, even if you make the toast your way, the cinnamon yogurt dip is a must. It’s so sweet and comforting that you’ll just want more and more with every bite you take.

One crucial thing though! It has to be on the table when the toast is ready, because the hot bread and the cold yogurt will just fight for supremacy in your mouth and you’ll absolutely love it! I have people that can vouch for this.

How to Make Bread Toast Sticks with Cinnamon Yogurt Dip?

Step 1:

Head up a non-stick pan or a skillet and spray it with just a bit of oil. Cut the bread into strips and lay the strips in the heated skillet. Cook them for a few seconds on each side until they are toasted to taste. I like them to be a bit overdone, because I like the flavor, but you can cook them however you want.

Step 2:

In a small bowl mix together the yogurt, honey and cinnamon. Refrigerate this for 30 minutes and just before serving sprinkle a bit of cinnamon powder on top of the yogurt.

Step 3:

Bon appetit.
