Aloha Chicken Sausage
This is a nice and hearty Aloha Chicken Sausage dish. I got inspired to make it from my favorite brand, Gilbert’s Aloha Chicken Sausages. I just love them! So I thought, why not make my own version at home?

The classic recipe usually includes chicken sausages and pineapple salsa, but I didn’t follow it exactly. I used 4 chicken sausages, either pineapple or teriyaki flavored, along with some vegetables and sauces like soy sauce and honey. I also added a bit of olive oil.
The idea I had when making this Aloha Chicken Sausage was to cook the sausages with a sauce that I made it with soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Then I mixed in the vegetables and let everything cook in the pan. I bet you can imagine the flavor and the result, I especially loved it with a slice of bread. The taste was so awesome and perfect for dinner.

INGREDIENTS
- 4 chicken sausages (pineapple or teriyaki flavored if available)
- 1 ½ cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ginger powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions (for garnish, optional)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
